I’m mesmerized by people’s enjoyment of the sweet masterpieces I create. At the age of 13, I started my own pastry business Cookietella, where I was in charge of everything from taking orders, to baking and ensuring the goods reach the customers fresh. I did all that and managed to excel in school as well. When it came time to choose a college major, I was overwhelmed with uncertainty. I knew that I had a passion for pastry, but I didn’t how to proceed; should I continue running my small business, should I go to culinary school…? Then I heard that Misk was offering scholarships for Pastry Diplomas abroad, and I knew that was my chance. So I applied and got in.

I’m grateful for achieving one of my biggest goals at such a young age. While I’m completing my culinary studies in Paris, I will be sure to share the journey with my Cookietella followers. As soon as I’m back in Saudi, I plan to provide my customers with unique and innovative baked goods that they can share with their loved ones. I believe that great things are bound to happen when passion meets dedication and hard work. So, always follow your passion, and remember that the only way to learn is to take chances.
